1. ClickBank
First founded in 1998, and over the last 10 years, ClickBank has became the top most must-go-to vendor for affiliate products. You can easily find many affiliate products out in the information cyberspace that attempt to help you make full use of ClickBank and other techniques to help you to make money online. If you are a publisher yourself, you can tap on the over 110,000 affiliates, just waiting to promote your products today.
How To Get Started
Sign up for an account for free. Key in all your personal information as stated and choose a good nickname. This good nickname, if properly chosen, can help to mask (a small extent) of your affiliate links.
Once you are done, you can head over to the MarketPlace to start promoting your desired products. From the search page, you can do a search based on keywords. A good keywords to choose from, will be good, if it's related to your personal hobbies or interests or business nature.
You can also choose to sort your products according to "Popularity", "High Gravity", "Low Gravity", "$ earned/sale", "% earned/sale", "Future $", "Total $/sale" and "% referred". The most popular choice that most internet marketers will use is the "sort by High Gravity" function.
A good affiliate product is one that has the highest "% earned/sale", "% referred" and "High Gravity".

In order to be paid, your sales must be made with 5 or more different credit card numbers and with two different payment methods. If you've sales and your account remains dormant for a number of days, you'll be subjected to a certain charge amount.
The common mode of payment is currently by Cheque, internationally. At this point of writing, ClickBank is slowly introducing the wire transfer mode to all the publishers and affiliates.
2. Mike Filsaime's PayDotCom
Mike Filsaime is one of the most successful internet marketers and PayDotCom is one of his precious "baby" in his online enterprise. It has been rumoured that PayDotCom is created to compete head-to-head with ClickBank. In terms of the business model, PayDotCom is created with affiliates in mind like the use of Widgets to promote affiliate products on your website or blog and you are also able to make some money by promoting this service.
PayDotCom is still relatively a young service as compared to ClickBank. If you are a publisher and looking for better exposure in terms of having that huge amount of affiliates, PayDotCom may not be up to your standard as yet. But for each services, there are definitely pros and cons.
How To Get Started
Sign up for an account for free by clicking on the "Sign Up" link. Similarly, you need to key in your personal details and you have to choose a good nickname. I will strongly suggest to use a common nickname for your affiliate business as a form of branding.
Once you are done. You can start promoting products from the PayDotCom Marketplace (you may need to login for the link to work). You will start your search with your chosen keywords.
Unlike ClickBank, with the option to sort, PayDotCom does it straightforward for you by the Affiliate Power Score or APS. As stated on the site, this score is calculated on a daily basis and it depends on a number of factors such as the number of sales, total refunds, and affiliate earnings with special emphasis put on the number of unique affiliates making sales over the last 150 days with recent transactions having more relevance.
In a nutshell, the higher the APS, the highly promoted and profitable is the product.
You can also view the sales page to convince yourself of the product's worthiness. Once you're done, you can click on the Promote link to get the affiliate link.
A typical affiliate link will look like: https://paydotcom.com/r/6842/dexterc/20809443/.
A different system, you can also note from PayDotCom, is that you can get all the promotional materials under the Promote page, which is very much different from ClickBank.
Another good function of PayDotCom to note is that, once you start noticing a good sales from a certain product, either that the promotional materials are good or the product, itself, is amazing. You can choose to refer the other range of products being offered by the same publisher by clicking on the "View Vendor's Profile". You can also choose to contact the Vendors by leaving a message using the internal message system.

A few things to note about using the PayDotCom services:
One of the common payment method, that is different from ClickBank, is the option to get paid by Paypal. With Paypal getting popular over the years, it's much easier to get paid this way. But the choice is yours though, should you choose to get paid with Checks.
Similarly for your affiliate link, it will be good to have a good nickname to blend well and to prevent commission theft. You should also consider using a link cloaker to cloak your affiliate link.
3. Click2Sell
The latest affiliate product vendor to join the marketplace is Click2Sell, a Europe based company. Currently, this service is still not widely promoted by affiliates but there's always a saying, "the early bird gets the worm".
Similarly to PayDotCom, you can get paid to promote Click2Sell. And in terms of being a publisher, the exposure may still not be there, but if your business is based in Europe, Click2Sell may be your best choice. An unique function similar to PayDotCom is that you can be both a Merchant and Vendor under a Single Account/Platform.
How To Get Started
Sign up for an account for free. You have to key in your personal particulars and also have the option to key in your Paypal or MoneyBookers account email. You also have to choose a good nickname for this account.
Once you are done. You can start promoting your products from the Click2Sell Marketplace. Similarly, you have to choose your affiliate products using keywords and this time round, you can sort your search by "Rank", "$ per sale", "Commission %", "Conversion %", "% of sales made by affiliates" and "Popularity"
A interesting function is the Ranking System. For every product, you can see the current ranking in the marketplace and it's movement over the weeks.
If you want to get the best affiliate products, the key factors to consider will be the "Popularity" and the "Conversion %" and "% of sales made by affiliates".
Once you have done your search, you can create on the "More Info" link to get the vendor's particulars (you can leave the person a message) and also see the statistics of the product. Promotional Materials can also be obtained from this page itself. From there, you can create your affiilate links.
A typical link will look like: http://dexterc.fkishcli.click2sell.eu. Additionally, another add-on to the affiliate link is the option to go to the product's checkout page. Such link will look like http://dexterc.fkishcli.click2sell.eu/?checkout. You can also create "Buy Now" image buttons to be placed in your site.
